Who are we?

Magenta Italy’s Managing Partner Alison Harris is bilingual, having been born and brought up in Italy. She manages her own family property on the Tuscan coast, and brings her experience as a commercial lawyer in major international companies in both London and Milan to bear in Magenta Italy’s consultancy services.

Magenta Italy has helped clients from around the world achieve their Italian dream - from Sardinia and Tuscany to Lake Como and Lazio.

Our Fees

We are completely flexible. No client is the same. But we have three broad approaches to fees:

• For short or ad hoc tasks (such as translations, phone calls, research) we charge an hourly rate;
• Where we are required to work full-time on a task, we charge a daily rate;
• For end-to-end projects, particularly involving the purchase of a property in Italy, we can agree a retainer fee, and a percentage of the overall transaction.

Our Approach

We are entirely independent, working just for you. We are not tied to estate agents, builders or architects. Our number one priority is to understand our client’s needs, and to tailor our support to your situation.

We understand that buying or renovating a property in Italy is often the realisation of a long-term dream. Our aim is to minimise any stress that may come with it, and to help you avoid any of the pitfalls that can bring unnecessary costs and delays. But above all, we want you to enjoy the process. Our friendly and personal approach is designed to make that happen.
